Privacy Policy

Effective: May 1, 2026 Last Updated: May 27, 2026

How Pixouls and TruckSite411 collect, use, and protect your information, in plain English, with clear contact paths if you want to exercise your privacy rights.

This Privacy Policy describes how Pixouls LLC, an Illinois limited liability company and the operator of the TruckSite411 service ("Pixouls", "we", "us", or "our"), collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards information when you visit https://pixtsite411.kinsta.cloud/ (the "Site") or interact with the marketing-side features of TruckSite411.

For clients who purchase and use the TruckSite411 subscription Service (the "Service"), additional terms governing data collected, generated, or processed through the Service appear in Section 10 of our Terms of Service. Where the Terms of Service address the same subject matter as this Privacy Policy with respect to Service Data, the Terms of Service control as between Pixouls and the Client.

1. Who We Are

Pixouls is a Rock Island, Illinois-based design, development, and managed-services firm operating the TruckSite411 platform — a website-as-a-service offering built for heavy-duty truck repair, fleet service, and heavy-duty towing companies. Our website address is https://pixtsite411.kinsta.cloud/. You can reach us at team@pixouls.com or at the address listed in Section 12 below.

2. Personal Information We Collect and Why

We collect personal information in the following ways:

2.1 Forms on the Site

When you submit any form on the Site (including, currently, the "Schedule a Call" / contact form, and any forms we may add in the future such as newsletter signup, request-a-quote, or careers applications), we collect the information you voluntarily provide. Depending on the form, this may include:

  • Your name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Company or shop name
  • Type of business or services you offer
  • Any message, comments, or context you choose to include
  • Your communication preferences and consent indicators

We use this information solely to respond to your inquiry, schedule and conduct the requested communication, evaluate fit for our Service, and (where you have consented) follow up with relevant information about TruckSite411 and Pixouls.

2.2 Account and Subscription Information (Clients)

If you sign up for the TruckSite411 subscription Service, we collect billing and account information necessary to provision and operate your account, including business name, billing contact, billing address, payment-method details (handled by our payment processor — see Section 5), and account credentials. This information is governed both by this Privacy Policy and by the Service-specific provisions in our Terms of Service.

2.3 Automatically Collected Information

When you visit the Site, we (and our service providers) may automatically collect technical information such as IP address, browser type, device characteristics, operating system, referring URLs, pages viewed, time on page, and similar diagnostic and usage data. See Section 3 for our cookies and analytics practices.

3. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Our Site uses cookies and similar technologies for limited and specific purposes.

3.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies

These enable core functionality such as keeping you signed in, remembering form state, or maintaining session continuity. Without them, the Site cannot function properly.

3.2 Analytics

We use analytics providers (currently including Google Analytics) to gather anonymized information about Site usage — which pages you visit, how long you stay, how you arrived at our Site, and how visitors move through it. We use this data to understand engagement and continually improve the Site and our Service.

You can learn more about how Google uses your data here: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, available at: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

3.3 Advertising and Conversion Tracking

If we run paid advertising campaigns (e.g., Google Ads), we may use conversion-tracking pixels or tags to measure ad effectiveness and attribute leads to specific campaigns. These tools record limited information about the actions you take after clicking one of our ads.

3.4 Disabling Cookies

Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can modify your browser settings to decline cookies or to alert you when cookies are being sent. Please note that disabling cookies may affect the functionality of certain parts of the Site.

4. Embedded Content from Other Websites

Some pages on the Site may include embedded content (for example, videos, images, articles, scheduling tools, or other interactive elements) from third-party websites. Embedded content behaves the same way as if you visited the third-party website. These third parties may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional tracking, or monitor your interaction with the embedded content. We do not control these third parties, and their practices are governed by their own privacy policies.

5. Third-Party Service Providers

We use a limited set of third-party providers to operate the Site and Service. Where these providers process personal information on our behalf, they are bound by their own privacy policies and (where applicable) by data-processing agreements with us. They include:

  • Payment processing: Stripe (for subscription billing)
  • Hosting and infrastructure: Google Cloud, Cloudflare
  • Analytics: Google Analytics
  • Email and communication: providers used to send transactional and marketing email
  • Customer relationship management (CRM): the platform we use to manage leads and clients
  • Scheduling and form tools: the form platform that powers the "Schedule a Call" / contact forms on the Site
  • Advertising platforms: Google Ads (and similar) where applicable

We do not sell, rent, or lease your personal information to third parties.

6. How We Use and Share Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your inquiries and schedule the conversations or services you request;
  • Provision, operate, support, and improve the Site and the TruckSite411 Service;
  • Bill clients and manage subscriptions;
  • Send service-related communications (e.g., account, billing, or security messages);
  • Send marketing communications about TruckSite411 and Pixouls (where you have consented or where permitted by law), with an easy way to opt out at any time;
  • Measure and improve the performance of the Site, our advertising, and our content;
  • Comply with applicable laws, regulations, court orders, or other legal obligations;
  • Establish, exercise, or defend our legal rights, including investigating and preventing fraud, abuse, or violations of our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use policies; and
  • Protect the safety, rights, and property of our team, our clients, and the public.

We may disclose personal information to:

  • Our employees, contractors, and agents on a need-to-know basis to perform the activities described above;
  • Service providers and subprocessors (see Section 5);
  • A successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of substantially all of our assets;
  • Government authorities or other third parties when required by applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect our or others' rights, property, or safety.

7. How Long We Retain Your Information

We retain personal information for as long as is reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, to operate the Site and Service, to comply with our legal and recordkeeping obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce our agreements.

For inquiries submitted through forms on the Site that do not result in a subscription, we typically retain the information for the period needed to complete the requested follow-up plus a commercially reasonable period thereafter for analytics, recordkeeping, and follow-up marketing (where consent allows). You can request deletion at any time using the contact information in Section 12.

For client accounts, retention is governed by our Terms of Service in addition to this Privacy Policy.

8. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you reside, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, including the right to:

  • Access, update, or correct the personal information we hold about you;
  • Request deletion of your personal information;
  • Object to or restrict certain processing of your personal information;
  • Opt out of marketing communications at any time (every marketing email contains an unsubscribe link, and you can also email us);
  • Receive a portable copy of certain personal information, where applicable; and
  • Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in your jurisdiction.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the information in Section 12. We will respond to verifiable requests within a reasonable timeframe and consistent with applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

California residents: Where applicable, we do not "sell" personal information as that term is defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). For requests under the CCPA/CPRA, please contact us using the information in Section 12.

9. Security

We maintain commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Our infrastructure includes enterprise-grade hosting, encryption in transit (SSL/TLS), web-application-firewall protection, continuous monitoring, and routine backups. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is fully secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

If we become aware of a security incident affecting your personal information, we will notify you and applicable authorities to the extent required by law.

10. Children's Privacy

The Site and the Service are not directed to, or intended for use by, children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we may have collected information from a child without parental or guardian consent, please contact us immediately using Section 12 and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technologies, legal requirements, or other factors. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and, where the change is material, provide more prominent notice (such as a notice on the Site or an email to clients on file). We encourage you to review this page periodically for the latest information on our privacy practices. Your continued use of the Site or Service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
